Bathing Beauty

Grace and I played outside one afternoon on Spring Break. She enjoyed snacking on a fudgesicle and playing in the sprinkler. She also practiced her jumprope skills, played with bubbles, and ran around with her streamer. What a fun and relaxing time together!

She had finally learned to jumprope, which is a MAJOR deal to 5 year olds! She was so proud of herself!

I have to wonder just how much longer simple afternoons like this will make her happy. For my sake, I hope forever.

This is what Grace's bed looks like every evening! It's almost like trying to play "Where's Waldo?" At least she sleeps well!

I took some pictures of my favorite subject one sunny Sunday afternoon. This was the first afternoon of the new Spring season that we were able to get outside and enjoy some family time. The lighting was great and so were Grace's smiles!

Grace's Green Thumb

One afternoon, to celebrate the arrival of Spring, Grace planted her very own daisy! It was all part of a kit we purchased from Target, and she loved spreading the soil and planting her daisy. We watered it everyday and enjoyed watching it grow. Even DJ got in to the daisy plantin' act and helped her get it started!

God was just showing off when He made my little daisy grower!
