Trunk or Treat

Grace and I went with my parents to their church for Trunk or Treat and dinner Saturday night. Grace decided to be Snow White this year, which surprised me, since Ariel is her favorite princess. But, she had the Snow White dress, fancy shoes, and red hairband, plus we curled her hair and I put blush on her cheeks to make them rosy! She was a doll and had a wonderful, chocolatey time!

Pumpkin Patch

Grace and I visited Carlton Farms Pumpkin Patch this Saturday morning with some friends. This was our third year going to the pumpkin patch/farm and Grace enjoyed it, as usual. We checked out the pumpkins, fed the cows on the hayride, and had lots of fun! The cows were very hungry and mobbed the trailer on the hayride, which Grace thought was hysterical! Good friends and a good day!

This is the dirt road that I take their pictures on every year! This is the third year in a row of picking their pumpkins together! They are so big now!!!

It's such fun to look back over the years and see how much they have changed.

Welcome Fall!

We had pictures taken of Grace at the end of September to welcome fall! Our little pumpkin is growing up so quickly into such a beautiful little girl.

Pre-Egypt Weekend

DJ left for Egypt on October 3, so the three of us spent some time together that Saturday, playing and enjoying our day. I took a few pictures of our family intact, since we will be apart for a month.

North Georgia State Fair

One rainy Saturday morning in late September, we drove over to Marietta to take Grace to the state fair. She is a little daredevil and always enjoys fast rides, so she, of course, had a blast! She and DJ rode the ferris wheel together, then she and I rode the carousel. She also rode several kid rides, delighting in the freedom she had to ride all by herself.

She wanted to get her face painted, so for the first time, she was still enough for the lady to paint her little face! She even got glitter on it and a ribbon crown! I was really proud of her for being so still and agreeable. She declared herself a princess and she sure was as pretty as one.

Finally, she and DJ rode the enormous slide, which she was tall enough to go on by herself...which scared me a little, since I was worried that she would fly off! Then it was time for a quick family picture and time to go home before the rain hit. We will be back next year though!
