Villa Rica Gold Rush Parade

DJ and I took Grace to our city's annual parade on Saturday. She always has a great time because she gets ton of candy and has fun waving at everyone! My dad walked down from his church's venue and watched the parade with us, which Grace loved because he ran out on the street and got her even more candy!

First Day of School

Grace started preschool this week at our church and loves it! She goes five mornings a week, from 8:30-11:30. She really likes her teacher and has shown no problem with her new found independence. Let's hope the rest of her school career goes as smoothly!

Our Trip to Houston

Over Labor Day weekend, DJ, Grace, and I flew to Houston to visit family and look for wedding venues. It was a fun filled, busy weekend, but we had a great time. Grace loved meeting everyone and had a blast with her grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Grace got to fly for the first time and did so well! She handled the airport well, and only got a little worried when she had to take off her shoes at security. She was concerned that she wouldn't get them back! But, once we got through there and boarded the plane, she did wonderfully!







Grace enjoyed playing with her cousin Saturday morning, then with her aunts, uncles and Gammie the rest of the day. Everyone enjoyed spoiling her, and we loved the extra time with family and friends.

Little Ballerina
Grace had her first dance class tonight. She loved getting dressed up in the ballet clothes, especially when we got to the studio and she realized she could slide across the floor in those slick tights! She did very well listening to her teacher and she also made some friends. She even did several front flips on the tumbling mat! She assured me that she definitely wanted to go back next week!









That wall of mirrors was an object of endless fascination!
